Let's start at the very beginning. A very good place to start.

After losing my sweet momma to cancer in 2014, I was desperately seeking comfort in her absence. I began writing the words I needed on small pieces of paper and placing them everywhere in sight to remind myself to keep going.

You Are Not Alone

One day while working on my computer at a coffee shop- I noticed the person across the room on the brink of tears. I looked at the note in the back of my phone case- "You are not alone- this is temporary". When they got up to use the bathroom, I carefully placed my note on their table and returned to my seat. I figured they might need the words more than me in that moment. Once they returned, they picked up the note, looked around the room with a grin and placed the paper to their heart. It wasn't until that very moment that I actually believed the words written on the paper. I wasn't alone. And neither were they.

I have since been writing the words I need on paper and hiding them around the world in hopes that the message will find whoever may need it. The goal is that they will absorb the message and precede to share it with someone else.

I believe that social media has left everyone feeling lonelier than ever, and by passing hand-written notes from the heart I am able to share tangible messages that we are all in this together. These cards are deeply personal. I have made them in my most challenging moments and with you all in mind. I hope you find joy and comfort sharing them with others as much as I do. Thank you for being here.
